Twelve Breaths: A Workshop in Meditation and Lovingkindness 

In this workshop you will learn the benefits of meditation. In a world of information overload, constant “breaking news”, and daily disappointments and hurts, our bodies, minds, and spirits are stressed to the breaking point. The effects of stress on the body lead to physical and spiritual traumas. These traumas may cause mental anguish and physical illness. Through meditation there is a way to cope with these stresses in positive ways. You will learn several techniques to begin a meditation practice as well as simple ways to take a mindful break at any time during the day. Lovingkindness meditation is a way to find a spacious softness for all beings you encounter in this complex world. No special equipment required.
